The Pyramid Method
Imagine each attar as a pryramid. Each pyramid has 3 layers; the highs, the mids and the base. Each of these together create the specific aroma however each of these play a seperate role in your experience.
The High Notes
The top of the pyramid holds the most volatile and defining scents. These are the ‘first impressions’ of each attar and usually define oil based perfume as a whole. However they have a shorter lifetime than the middle notes and will eventually fade away.
The Middle Notes
These notes take control once the high notes begin to wear off.They usually have a deeper aroma making them less harsh and more comforting as the day goes on.

The Base Notes
These are the heart of each attar with the richest and strongest scent. The balance of strength and subtleness will ensure the perfume is not overpowering but still strong enough to recieve compliments.
