Frankincense and spice over glowing amber and resins
About Luban
Luban opens with a bright rush of spice and citrus. Cardamom and Sichuan pepper tingle against lemon and bergamot, and frankincense rises through them with a clean, peppery smoke.
The heart turns warmer and more golden. Saffron, rose, orange blossom and geranium melt into the spice with a little earthy patchouli, an effect close to warm gingerbread.
Amber, benzoin and vanilla build a glowing, resinous base, with oud and musk adding depth. The dry-down is sweet, ambery and softly smoky, rich yet surprisingly airy.
Rich enough for winter evenings and festive occasions; a little goes a long way.

How do I apply attar?
Roll or dab a little onto your pulse points: wrists, neck or behind the ears. Don't rub it in; let the warmth of your skin open the oil. A small amount goes a long way.
Will the oil mark my clothes?
Perfume oils can mark some fabrics, especially silk and light colours, so apply to your skin rather than your clothing.
Which size should I choose?
The 3 ml roll-on is a good first try. The 12 ml and 15 ml bottles cost the least per millilitre. If you're choosing between several scents, the Discovery Set lets you try any seven in 3 ml.
What if I have allergies?
Do a patch test on a small area of skin before first use. If you have any allergies, it's best to avoid our perfumes to be on the safe side. If you have a question, ask us.
Delivery and returns
Orders usually arrive within 3–4 working days, by Royal Mail. UK delivery is £2.99, or free on orders of £20 or more. Items in unopened, sealed packaging can be returned within 14 days. Full delivery and returns policy
