About Obsidian Oud
Obsidian Oud puts its oud notes front and centre, at their most direct. It opens dark and wild, with a raw, animalic warmth and a smoky woodiness that fills the first minutes.
Vanilla slowly works its way through, dark rather than sugary, rounding the edges without hiding the oud's character.
Birch tar adds a slow, leathery smoulder to the base, like a fire burned down to embers. The finish is smooth, smoky and faintly sweet.
For seasoned oud lovers and cold evenings. Apply sparingly: a single touch is plenty.

Roll or dab
One stroke on a pulse point: the wrist, the neck, behind the ear.

Let it warm
Don't rub. The warmth of your skin opens the oil slowly.

Give it time
Attar moves from its opening to its heart and dry-down. Notice how it changes as you wear it.

How do I apply attar?
Roll or dab a little onto your pulse points: wrists, neck or behind the ears. Don't rub it in; let the warmth of your skin open the oil. A small amount goes a long way.
Will the oil mark my clothes?
Perfume oils can mark some fabrics, especially silk and light colours, so apply to your skin rather than your clothing.
Which size should I choose?
The 3 ml roll-on is a good first try. The 12 ml and 15 ml bottles cost the least per millilitre. If you're choosing between several scents, the Discovery Set lets you try any seven in 3 ml.
What if I have allergies?
Do a patch test on a small area of skin before first use. If you have any allergies, it's best to avoid our perfumes to be on the safe side. If you have a question, ask us.
Delivery and returns
